OGBridge
FAQAll the answers about OGBridge: missions, money, companies, map…
Getting started
What is OGBridge?
OGBridge is the companion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator and TruckersMP players. The Windows app reads your telemetry while you drive and sends your missions to the website: history, statistics, money, companies (VTCs), live map, truck fleet… The bridge.oghub.fr website brings it all together, and the app adds the "game" side (game detection, sending missions, launching).
What is in the app and what is on the website?
In the app only: Dashboard (live telemetry), Games (your games, their installation and Steam statistics) and Settings (game locations, telemetry plugin). These three pages are not shown on the web version.
On the website AND in the app: the map, the VTC Hub, company pages, the wallet, Solo mode, the league, events, the exchange (Exchanges), used-truck sales, servers, mods, search, the changelog and this FAQ.
How does the app record my missions?
When you launch ETS2 or ATS with the app open, the telemetry plugin sends what your truck is doing. OGBridge records each mission at three moments: when it starts, when it is delivered and when it is cancelled. On delivery, the site works out the revenue, updates the truck's odometer and your driving score, then credits the money to the right place (see the "Money" section).
What happens if my connection drops during a mission?
While you drive, the mission is tracked by the app on your computer: a connection drop doesn't interrupt it. When the mission starts, is delivered or is cancelled, the app sends it to the website. If that sending fails (connection lost, server unreachable), the app saves it on your computer and sends it again automatically, in order, every minute until it goes through, even after restarting the app. It is kept for up to 7 days (20 missions at most).
Limit: if the app is closed or crashes WHILE you are driving a mission, the tracking of that ongoing mission is not resumed.
How do I connect my Steam account?
Open the Games page in the app and click "Connect my Steam account" (top right of the game area, on ETS2 or ATS). Steam asks you to sign in and brings you back to OGBridge. The page then shows your playtime, achievements and last session.
Without a linked Steam account, games and their banners stay displayed: only the Steam statistics are missing. Your Steam profile must be public to show your playtime. A Steam account can only be linked to one OGBridge profile.
How do I know the app is properly identified?
The app proves who you are to the server with a private token tied to your account, requested automatically when you are signed in. Nobody can therefore send missions or positions in your name. You have nothing to do: if the server refuses the token, the app requests a new one by itself.
Missions, speed and driving
What are a "Real" and a "Race" mission?
Each company sets a maximum speed (in the Manager, Company tab): 80 to 105 km/h in ETS2 and 60 to 85 mph in ATS. If your top speed stays under that limit, the mission is "Real"; above it, it becomes "Race". Subscribed companies get a tolerance: if less than 5% of the trip goes over the limit, the mission stays "Real" and a notice shows it was reviewed.
What does the driving score measure?
A score out of 100 computed on delivery: fuel consumption compared with the truck's reference, time spent over the speed limit, harsh braking and cruise control use. It appears on the mission page and feeds the company's statistics.
Where can I see a mission's details?
On the mission page (Info button in the lists): route, cargo, distance, revenue, top speed, speed curve, driving score, events (toll, fine, ferry, refuel) and the route replay on the map, coloured by your speed. If other members drove the same route around the same time, a convoy comparison is offered.
What is truck rental?
If you drive a catalogue truck that isn't in your fleet (so you don't own it), it is rented. The price is realistic: 80 to 500 € per day depending on the truck's value, billed pro rata to the mission's real duration (minimum 1 hour). On a company mission, the company balance pays when it can, otherwise the driver; in Solo mode the driver always pays, from their wallet. The amount is shown on the mission page. A modded truck, missing from the catalogue, isn't rented.
Money: company balance and wallet
What is the difference between the company balance and my wallet?
The company balance is the company's money: it receives the revenue of its members' missions, pays for trucks and salaries and repays loans. The wallet is YOUR personal money, on your profile: it receives your salaries, your Solo missions and your charter missions, and it pays your rentals and purchases. You can see it on the Wallet page: balance and full history, with the balance after each operation.
How are salaries paid?
In the Manager, Salaries tab, the company sets a base salary and a bonus per kilometre for each member. On payout, the company balance is debited and the member's wallet is credited in the same operation: money never disappears and can't be paid twice. If the balance is insufficient, the payout is simply skipped and done later.
What is my wallet money for?
Paying your truck rentals in Solo mode, buying trucks and, later, starting your own company. It is your personal capital, independent from the companies you belong to.
How is a mission's price worked out?
A mission's real revenue = distance × the cargo's price per kilometre (exchange market, Exchanges page). Each company picks its price scale: "boosted" (historical, more generous) or "realistic" (real-world prices), in the Manager, Bank tab. While a loan is outstanding, 20% of each mission's revenue automatically repays the bank.
Can a company borrow?
Yes: the Manager's Bank tab lets the company take a loan. The base rate drifts slightly over time (like inflation) and interest is computed pro rata to the time elapsed.
Companies (VTCs), Solo and Charterer
How do I create or join a company?
VTC Hub menu: "Create VTC" (pick a name and a starting capital: prudent, standard or ambitious) or "Join a VTC with an invitation". An invitation is a link or key generated in the Manager, Staff tab. Each invitation works only once: it is renewed as soon as a player uses it.
Can I be in several companies at the same time?
Yes. You can join or create as many as you like. The "My company" selector at the top of the VTC Hub (sidebar) shows the active company: your missions are recorded for it and that's where you have your rights in the Hub. Pick another company in the list to switch. You have a different rank in each company.
Switching is refused while a mission is in progress: finish it first, otherwise it would be recorded for the wrong company.
What is Solo mode?
Without a company (or by choosing "Solo mode" in the selector), your missions are recorded in your own name: history, statistics and earnings on the Solo page. The money of each mission goes straight to your wallet and you pay your own truck rentals. It's the ideal mode to play alone or to prepare your future company.
What is a Charterer and how do I become one?
A charterer is a player who isn't part of the company's team but does some missions for it at the employer's request. Their missions stay recorded for the company (statistics, history), but the money is paid onto THEIR wallet instead of the company balance, and no loan repayment is taken from those missions.
To appoint a charterer, as an administrator:
1. Manager, Staff tab: copy the invitation and send it to the player.
2. The player clicks "Join a VTC with an invitation" and pastes it.
3. Still in the Staff tab, change their rank to "Charterer". If your company customised its ranks (Ranks tab), create a rank and tick the "Charterer (paid to their wallet)" right.
4. The player picks the company in their selector before starting a mission for it: it will be paid onto their wallet.
Since 1.2.1, an administrator can also send them a charter invitation directly from the job board: the driver must first mark themselves available for charter work there, then accept or decline the invitation they receive.
What is the job board?
On the Job board page, a driver can show that they're looking for a company and/or available for charter work, pick the transport types they're interested in (reefer, flatbed, curtainside, tanker, container, low loader, tipper, car carrier, general freight) and leave a message and a contact (Discord, for example). Signed-in members can browse and filter this list, and the information also shows on the driver's public profile.
A company administrator can invite a driver who's available for charter work directly: the driver receives the invitation (with a banner shown across the site) and, if they accept it, joins the company only with the Charterer rank.
How do ranks and rights work?
Each company can define its own ranks (Manager, Ranks tab) and choose what each one can do: administer, manage trucks, publish news, be a charterer… Customising copies the default ranks and keeps your members in the equivalent rank; the owner always keeps administrator rights. A rank can't be deleted while members hold it.
How do I fire a member or close the company?
An administrator can fire a member from the Staff tab (the owner can't be fired). Fired from a company, the player moves to another of their companies or to Solo mode. Only the owner can close the company (danger zone of the Company tab): all members are released and the history is kept.
How do I customise my company's public page?
In the Manager, Company tab: name, description (in Markdown: formatting and live preview, never HTML), logo (up to 1024×1024, resized to 260×260) and banner (resized to 1920×350) in PNG, JPG or WebP, a "Recruiting" status with a message, and your links (website, X, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, others). News are published in the News tab and shown on the company page, with a dedicated page for each article.
What does a company page show?
The banner and logo, badges (certified, plan, recruiting, partner), the description, the links, then statistics over 7, 14 or 30 days (longer for subscribed companies): missions, total distance and per game, revenue, active drivers, average speed, average top speed, driving score, consumption, driving time, longest mission, delivery rate, top destinations, departures, cargo, trucks and drivers. It also lists the team, the latest news and the 25 latest missions.
What is the Headquarters?
In the Manager, Headquarters tab, you choose the city of your headquarters for each game (ETS2 and ATS). The company logo then appears on the map at that spot. Clicking it shows the company name, the number of recently active players (at least one mission in the last 14 days) and a link to its page.
How do I link my company to TruckersMP?
Manager, TruckersMP tab: enter your VTC's TruckersMP id (the number at the end of truckersmp.com/vtc/XXXX). OGBridge checks that the VTC exists, then shows a TruckersMP link on the company's public page. You can remove the link at any time.
What are company websites?
Official and partner companies have their own multi-page website at bridge.oghub.fr/company-name: home, news, team, missions, fleet, gallery, rules, recruiting, with a choice of themes. Content is managed in the Manager, Site tab.
How do I get announcements on Discord?
In the Manager, Company tab, Webhooks section: add a Discord webhook address and choose the announcements (job delivered, cancelled, job started, event created, truck bought or put on sale). The number of webhooks depends on the plan: 1 free, 2 with Tracteur, 4 with Exceptionnel.
The map
How does the map work?
The map is free for every signed-in member. Pick ETS2 or ATS with the buttons: only the chosen game is shown (the other is hidden and navigation is limited to its continent). The list on the right shows who is online and their mission; clicking a player centres the map on them. A right-click on the map gives the map coordinates and the game coordinates (X, Z).
What do the DLC, 3D and HQ buttons do?
DLC: hides or shows the regions of each DLC (Going East!, Scandinavia, Italia, Vive la France!, Iberia, Nevada, Colorado, South Dakota…), your choice is remembered. 3D / 2D: tilts the map and shows buildings in relief; in 3D you can also rotate it. HQ: shows or hides the companies' headquarters.
How are several companies in the same city displayed?
When several headquarters are in the same city, they are grouped into a single marker: the logo of the most active company, with an orange badge showing the number of companies. Clicking that marker opens the list of every company in the city (most active first), each with its logo, name, active players and a "View company" button.
Fleet and trucks
How does the fleet work?
An administrator (or a member allowed to manage trucks) buys catalogue trucks with the company balance, on the Fleet page, and assigns them to a driver. A fleet truck belongs to that driver: it counts their mileage, missions and revenue, and it isn't rented when they drive it.
What are used-truck sales?
Trucks that companies put on sale appear on the used-truck sales page. A company can buy one with its balance: the truck joins its fleet.
How do I permanently sell a truck to the dealer?
On a fleet truck's page (Fleet > truck), the "Sell to the dealer" button permanently removes the truck and pays 70% of its used value into the company balance. Unlike a used-truck sale, the truck doesn't move to another company: it's gone. Subscribed companies (Porteur, Tracteur, Exceptionnel) can do this without limit; others are limited to 2 sales per month.
Community and subscriptions
What are the League, Events and the exchange?
The League ranks companies and drivers. Events let you organise and join convoys. The exchange (Exchanges) shows the price per kilometre of each cargo, which drifts a little over time.
What are subscriptions for?
Company subscriptions (Porteur €2.50, Tracteur €5, Exceptionnel €10 per month): badge and certified company profile, longer statistics periods (up to 360 days then since the beginning), more Discord webhooks and the speed tolerance. Premium Member (€4.99 per month): download the mods and Reshade presets offered on OGBridge and a badge on your profile. No subscription gives any in-game advantage: economy, rankings and merit are identical.
How do I search for a player, a company or a mission?
With the magnifier icon next to the language selector on the website, or with the search bar of the title bar in the app.
Where can I see what's new?
On the Changelog page: website and application updates, side by side.
No question matches your search.
